Reminders Just a quick reminder that all teams are required to stay until the Varsity match is concluded. From the Volume One Newsletter: Specifically, each team has specific roles for game days. Varsity is required to set up, shag, score, and line for both JV and Frosh matches, as well as clean up and secure the gym afterwards. Frosh and JV have the following roles. As soon as one of the early matches are completed, the off team has 5 minutes to confer with their coach and parents before begin tear down and varsity set up. When the second early match is completed, that team will have the same 5 minutes before assisting set up of the main court. JV roles during the Varsity match include scoring, lines, and statistics. Frosh roles include ball shagging and trash watch. When the Varsity match is concluded, Frosh will clean up the chairs and tables, and JV will tear down the net and secure the equipment. Coach Mathews and Coach Wilkinson will release their teams when their tasks are completed. Finally, Varsity will insure that the gym and locker room is completely secure. Thank you for your understanding!
If a player has to leave early, she
needs to inform her coach at least 24 hours ahead of time with a
reasonable excuse. This should not be habitual. |
