Congratulations to the Grizzly Girls Cross Country
team for bringing home Mission Hills’ first trophy!
The Girls Team took 1st place in their Division
against 35 schools this weekend at the Dana Hills
High School Cross country Invitational.
Outstanding performances on this team won medals
for Jessica McMaster-2nd place, Kelsey Thorkelson
-4th, Kayla Urquidi -8th, Hannah Moore 29th, Bailey
Ward 41st and Amanda Tucker 44th out of a total of
170 runners in their race. Junior, Ari
Bird took 40th of 140 runners in her race also. The
Boys Cross Country team had fantastic races bringing
home medals as well. Chris Gonzales took 11th,
Taylor Bell took 18th, Colby Johnson took 28th, and
Jeff Nair took 41st out of over 130 runners.
