The balance of camp monies, poms, sports bags and shorts as well as 25% of the cheer uniform are due by June 1, 2007. The minimum uniform payment is $143, along with $37 for pom poms and $42 for shorts/bag/embroidery. If you are a returning cheerleader and do not need the 3 pairs of shorts and bag, but ordered additional shorts, the cost per short is $6.75 for the cardinal and $7.25 for the black. Make sure that you keep your receipt. The total camp fee is $350, so subtract from that whatever deposit you previously made.

I HAD ALOT OF QUESTIONS REGARDING THE MEMBERSHIP SO....THE AMOUNT IS $26 A MONTH WHICH IS A HUGE SAVINGS. THE MANAGER WILL COME AND SIGN UP EVERYONE WHO IS INTERESTED. WE NEED AT LEAST 10 SIGN UPSTO GET THE DEAL. WE WILL HAVE ACCESS TO TRAINERS WHEN WE GO AS A GROUP AND THEY HAVE A ROOM THERE WE WILL ALSO BE ABLE TO USE. I WOULD LIKE TO GET THOSE WHO HAVE THE MEMBERSHIPS TO GET TOGETHER AND WORK OUT. THIS DEAL IS ALSO AVAILABLE TO PARENTS WHO WANT TO COME. PLEASE LET ME KNOW AND I WILL SET UP THE SIGN UP TIME. Now is the time to begin recruiting sponsors for the 2006-2007 school year. This is a great way to help finance your uniform, etc. You may obtain a copy of the form here. Checks are made out to MHHS Cheer.  A tax ID number will be given out upon request.  If a sponsor wants a receipt with the tax #, please let us know that they've requested it, and we either email it, fax it, or have the girls deliver it.

All Cheerleaders must have a sports physical in order to participate in practice and games. Mission Hills High School offers an affordable way to achieve this. On Saturday, July 14th, sports physicals will be offfered at the Grizzly Pavillion from 9-12. You must oay for the physical and pick up and fill out a clearance packet from the finance office prior to taking the physical. The cost is $20 if paid before June 12th, and $25 after. These physicals are good for one year.

Diane from eScrip is making a special trip to Mission Hills for us this coming Wednesday, November 28, at 6:30 to tell parents how to order gift cards which will benefit MHHS cheer.  Basically, we will be able to purchase gift cards as a group at a discounted rate and the difference will go into the cheer account! The best part is that you can order gift cards, but you can also ask family, friends, neighbors etc.  This a perfect time of year and will it be quite easy to participate.  I am going to offer a reward for the participant (cheerleader and family) who gets the most gift card purchases as well!

Cheer and dance is having a fundraiser through Arbonne this Thursday, November 29, from 5:00 -- 7:30 in the staff lounge.  Participants will receive treatments and be able to order product, so come by if you can! The great thing about ordering product is that most of it is on hand, and if you need to order she will deliver the product to the school in about two days, so if needed it will be here before the holidays.
